MagnusCompact Fullrange Loudspeaker 250W

The Magnus Compact fills the gap between the Magnus12 and our Picospot. It is essential for all applications requiring maximum acoustic efficiency and extremely compact speaker dimensions. Outstanding speech intelligibility combined with excellent dispersion characteristics make the Magnus Compact the ultimate product.

The MagnusCompact is equipped 2 x 5” Neodymium drivers and 1 x 1” Compression driver in d´Apollito arrangement. The Horn can be rotated by 90° and has a dispersion of 90°x60°. The nicely shaped enclosure is Pu coated and withstands the rigours of touring business and suboptimal weather conditions.

The Magnus Compact can be used as a fullrange or migh-high system in combination with our Subwoofers. For practical use in the field, we developed a special bracket which can be used for vertical and horizontal pitch.

The Magnus series has been engineered for semi-active drive and thus unites the economic advantages of a passively crossed over loudspeaker with the sound quality, reliability and performance of an actively (i.e. DSP) controlled system. Its internal passive network provides optimal frequency division and phase alignment of both ways, and thus excellent directivity characteristics. Equalization, speaker protection and powering is provided through our AD-Systems Impuls series system amplifiers.
